DSBIA UPDATE

Good morning!

Another beautiful day in Squamish!

I just wanted to give you an update on what has been going on.

I got Squamish Days on CityTV yesterday morning, and they spent at lease 30 minutes talking about Squamish Days and doing Loggers Sports, this was great coverage for Squamish! Today I have booked the Squamish Days team to speak with CFUN to talk about Downtown Divas. Also on Thursday the Vancouver Sun's Westcoast Lifestyle section will also cover it too! The reason why I wanted to work with Squamish Days is that this event brings in lots of out of town people into Downtown. Great coverage for you!

We do ask you to stay open on Friday night, I know it is a lot to ask but there will be a ton of people walking around for the bed races and Downtown Divas. Maybe you are asking what Downtown Divas is, its a whole wack of woman musicians playing all day on Gelato Carinas roof till 10 pm, 'a street party'.

Not sure if you have noticed but we got new street-blades! We wanted to get these up before Squamish Days, kind of like a little sprucing up. We decided to keep with up our branding with the lady and the shopping bag. We hope you like them.

Also, all of the bike racks are finally in, if you go to our website there are a couple of pictures of kids trying them out. They should be an attraction for people. We are super happy we partnered with Trinity Romance as they worked really hard raising money at James Bondage to match funds with us so we could make this happen. That is what I call team work!

Our website stats have been super high, many people just searching for things to do in Squamish like: shopping, dining, and events.
